Medicare Advantage vs. Medigap: a plain-language comparison

The two paths

With Original Medicare, the federal program pays its share of covered services. You may add a separate Part D drug plan and a Medicare Supplement policy—often called Medigap—to help with certain out-of-pocket costs.
